John Miller to Introduce

Gloria’s story of horses starts in her native, Puerto Rico. Growing up on a small island has its challenges but horseback riding and, show jumping in particular, were the one thing she found passion in. One of the many perks of small island living is being able to represent your small island around the Caribbean at places like Dominican Republic, Panama, USA and Canada, where she secured wins in jumping for the island of Puerto Rico.

College brought her stateside where she rode for the Savannah College of Art and Design in hunter equitation classes. After graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design, Gloria went home to PR for a year doing design work and teaching horseback riding at ‘El Centro Ecuestre’ until a job opportunity brought her back to the USA, specifically South Carolina. Now after over 10yrs in the advertisement industry, Gloria finds herself in our beautiful Bluffton where she served as a PATH certified Therapeutic Instructor and Special Olympics Coach for a local non-profit: Heroes on Horseback.
