RECAP JULY 21 MEETING: MR. AL STOKES
We would like to thank our Guest Speaker Mr. Al Stokes, the former director of Waddell Mariculture Center for a very informative lecture on the advances in US Marine Shrimp Production Technology. Always a pleasure having Al visit BRC and sharing his expert knowledge of our local marine life.

RISE AGAINST HUNGER PROJECT

Area 4 Rotary Clubs’ Rise Against Hunger (RAH): Ms. Mary Briggs, president of the HHI Rotary Club and Ms. Hunter Dye, project lead for RAH for the Sunset Rotary Club, were interviewed this month on WHHI-TV to help promote our event, encourage participation and to raise awareness of Rotary Clubs in our area.

We would like to thank Mary and Hunter for your contributions and commitment! Also, Dot Jeger for coordinating this opportunity to help get the word out! Rotarians, friends, family, and acquaintance's are welcome and encouraged to sign up as volunteers or donate for such a worthwhile and fun project.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY
We would like to thank the Bluffton-Jasper County Volunteers in Medicine for allowing BRC to participate in their Christmas in July event. A BIG congratulations to all the winners of some amazing prizes and Dan for being a good sport by wearing a Santa hat in July!!
ROTARIANS AT WORK IN THE COMMUNITY
Rotarians at Work: As Rotarians we do more outside the usual BRC projects within our community and would like to showcase that here in our bulletin. Pictures that you would like to share of church charitable/giving events, supporting other nonprofits, helping a neighbor in need...etc. - Please text or email photos with a brief description to Shawn Marlowe (817-988-9461); shawn.marlowe@yahoo.com.
BOOK DONATIONS NEEDED FOR FREE LITTLE LIBRARIES
We still need book donations for the two Little Free Libraries our club maintains.
Please consider donating any children's or adult books so we can keep both little libraries fully stocked.
