The Greater Bluffton Community Fund, originally initiated by the Bluffton Rotary, was set up for the purpose of supporting current and on-going needs of the greater Bluffton area – from Hilton Head to Okatie. The fund's advisory council oversees the awarding of grants for community development and improvements, health and human services, education and environmental initiatives as well as for those that are artistic and cultural in nature.

Donations are tax deductible – as the fund is managed by the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, a nonprofit, 501(c)3 organization.
